In London, according to the Los Angeles Times, a coroner’s inquest found that Amy Winehouse’s death was “death by misadventure.” The singer, who passed in July 2011, was found with too much alcohol in her system, specifically 4.5 times over the legal limit. Coroner Suzanne Greenway reported that Amy Winehouse “had consumed sufficient alcohol at 416 mg per decilitre (of blood) and the unintended consequence of such potentially fatal levels was her sudden and unexpected death.”
In 2004 Amy was nominated for BRIT Awards in the categories of "British Female Solo Artist" and "British Urban Act." Her first album achieved platinum sales.Later in 2004, she and Remi won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Contemporary Song, for their first single together, "Stronger Than Me." The album was also shortlisted for the 2004 Mercury Music Prize.
We didn't see this coming, Alt-J (∆)'s new single, Hunger Of The Pine, samples 4x4 (feat. Nelly) from Miley Cyrus' BANGERZ album. Still, it sounds great! #NowPlaying on http://LetsLoop.com/artist/alt-j #Music
