MAURICE CHEVALIER / CASINO DE PARIS. 1926 by ZIG (LOUIS GAUDIN ?-1936)....After Mistinguett and Maurice Chevalier stopped living together and performing together in the early 1920s, they began criss-crossing each other at different Parisian venues. In 1926 Mistinguett was starring at the Moulin Rouge in a show that was advertised with Charles Gesmar's famous poster of her with a rose in her mouth. At the same time Maurice Chevalier was starring in this revue at the rival Casino de Paris.....
