This is a great printable activity to use at the beginning of the school year as a "get-to-know-you" activity. I love that it integrates math, works for a wide range of grade levels, and is fun and engaging for students. This printable should be used with 2"x 2" post-its.

Great for phonics or numicon - basically any topic where you want to put a clue on the outside and answer inside. Could even put different textures/colours or smells inside to discover in a sensory area.

Solve It Strips are a fun, hands-on math center that requires no prep for the teacher! Students use their mental math skills to work through a variety of math standards and they can easily self-check their work on each activity strip. 16 different sets are currently included in this bundle!

I like this saying because it encourages that mistakes are ok to make. I expect my students to show effort in the work that they do, and mistakes are fixable and acceptable as long as they keep trying. I would put this saying on a poster (on vinyl sticker like the one here) and keep in my classroom to remind students that it is ok to make mistakes.
