This is a great printable activity to use at the beginning of the school year as a "get-to-know-you" activity. I love that it integrates math, works for a wide range of grade levels, and is fun and engaging for students. This printable should be used with 2"x 2" post-its.
Writing centre. Samples of what students can work on include: Letter writing List making Story writing Start a Topic book (a book all about topic of student's choice) Comic strips Card making... All materials available for students at one location.
Great for phonics or numicon - basically any topic where you want to put a clue on the outside and answer inside. Could even put different textures/colours or smells inside to discover in a sensory area.
Hands-down one of our favorite resources - the Interactive Math Work Book Series contains 3 levels & a bundle (for those money saving lovers out there)! More of what each level includes at theautismhelper.com

I like this saying because it encourages that mistakes are ok to make. I expect my students to show effort in the work that they do, and mistakes are fixable and acceptable as long as they keep trying. I would put this saying on a poster (on vinyl sticker like the one here) and keep in my classroom to remind students that it is ok to make mistakes.
