MCB Quantico, VA - Marine Corps Base Quantico located in northern Virginia known as the "Crossroads of the Marine Corps". The base is the home of the major training institutions for the Marine Corps including Officer Candidates School, The Basic School and Marine Corps University. The Marine Corps cover is representative of Quantico because each officer starts here and eventually their roads cross here again to become a stronger officer.

George Peppard (1928 –1994). Born in Detroit, Peppard joined the Marine Corps in after high school in 1946. He was discharged two years to attend Carnegie Mellon University, graduating with an engineering degree in 1955. From engineering to acting, Peppard worked on the stage and screen. In the seventies he was given his own TV series, "Banacek." It lasted 2 or 3 years, but he stayed busy . .  the A-Team was yet to come.
