Madame Butterfly Opera Poster, very tragic story. I saw this "in the round" at The Albert Hall - magnificent

This type of typography works well for the year the opera is based in which is 1904, its a more classy style of writing but it would not appeal to the target audience i am trying to get to attend the opera.

This poster is expressing the loneliness and sadness that Madama Butterfly underwent when Lieutenant Pinkerton left for 3 years, with the reflection of his Navy ship.
