Roman mask helmet, 1st 2nd century CE. These are often called 'parade' helmets for cavalry sports use, but it has been suggested that they were also used in combat. The psychological effect of being charged by one of these masked warriors would have been formidable. A living statue, god-like and terrifying.

The two disciples are portrayed at the moment Jesus' identity is reveled.

During the severe famine in the reign of King Ahab, Elijah sought out lodging with a widow in Zarephath. Zarephath, is known as Sarafand in Lebanon today. Miraculously, the widow’s small supply of flour and oil was not consumed until the famine came to an end. And when her son died, Elijah brought him to life again (1 Kings 17:8-24). These miracles were recalled by Jesus as an example of a prophet who is unwelcome in his hometown (Luke 4:24-26)
