DIY Chair mat...about an $8 piece of plywood cut for free at Lowe's...i used spray adhesive to fasten the newspaper & covered it with contact paper to protect paper from ripping...cheap & much more visually interesting than the expensive hard mats from the office suppliers ( in my experience, much more sturdy too)
Sensory Activity Board: vintage wooden beads and blocks to complete the look. The center light is a battered operated closet light and the bicycle bell works! All items were secured by screws and/or glued in place for safety.
Wood planked Walls - 4 sheets of the 4x8 paint-ready utility plywood and had Lowe's cut them into 6 inch strips, length wise. We paid about $3.00 extra to have all the cuts made for us but it was WELL worth it!
DIY Platform Bed from Plywood. I would love to say that my future husband and I were able to make our own furniture. but, I know I need more support under the memory foam, or we will feel those wood pieces!
