Luke 6:27-28...Are you doing kind deeds for those who have harmed you or let you down? Are you speaking kind words to and about those who have slandered or verbally attacked you? Are you praying for those who have hurt or disappointed you? Look to God for His most able and gracious help, and then do what He says you must to love your enemies.
“But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Matthew 5:43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR and hate your enemy.’ 44 “But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 “For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
