Prince's Corner on Harborne High Street in a picture dated October 17, 1981, when it was threatened by £3.5million improvements to the city's outer ring road. The demolition of 50 houses and shops was proposed to make way for the dual carriageway section of the ring road between Harborne Park Road and Lordswood Road, and relieve congestion at Princes Corner, which serves as a junction to the ring road. The Harborne Society and local traders were campaigning to preserve the area.

And if that doesn't confuse you enough, I've found reference to "Lordswood V.A.D. Hospital" but I am about to scan dad's service record -
