Despite the uproar in America & the rest of the first world about the death of Cecil the Lion at the hands of a Minnesota dentist, & despite numerous press reports describing Cecil as a national hero, Zimbabweans don’t appear to actually care about Cecil or any of their endangered lions. The distinction is both that many Americans are concerned about endangerment to the lion species, but because (we) believe that MURDER should not be a pleasure or a sport.
