FIRST LOOK: Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'

The mark of a good villain is how he knows to stop monologuing before he gives away too much of his plan. That’s also the mark of a good superhero-franchise director. Details on Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (due March 25, 2016) have been scarcer than kryptonite. We know that a cameo by Aquaman sets up 2017’s Justice League and that Wonder Woman has a sizable role. And now we have our first glimpse of Jesse Eisenberg as one of comics’ greatest bad guys: Lex Luthor.

Wow, that’s a really good point (40 Photos)

What super #villains text about. Also, a pretty good explanation why #Superman can get away with his Clark Kent persona by simply taking off his glasses and straightening his hair.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

Directed by Zack Snyder. With Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg. Fearing the actions of Superman are left unchecked, Batman takes on the man of steel, while the world wrestles with what kind of a hero it really needs. With Batman and Superman fighting each other, a new threat, Doomsday, is created by Lex Luthor. It's up to Superman and Batman to set aside their differences along with Wonder Woman to stop Lex Luthor and Doomsday from destroying Metropolis.

Ah! Lex Luthor- the pleasant surprise in a film with such abysmal ratings. I really liked his performance in Batman vs Superman. He was malicious knowing how to toy with the emotions of Bruce and Clark yet all the while was likeable. His mannerisms were much like those of Heath Ledgers Joker. The way he gesticulated and how he had humorous his tricks. In conclusion Jesse Eisenburg played the part well and was a good antagonist.
