Our Pimlico cast iron radiators are a traditional late Victorian cast iron radiator more widely seen in later Edwardian homes. An elegantly simple design depicting 2 columns yet only 110mm in depth, giving a contemporary feel for the modern room as well as an authentic feel for the period home. The perfect choice for the traditional quaint cottage or small traditional room as well as a great choice for the modern home where space is at a premium such as the bathroom.
Odeon Deptford/London. Beautiful Art Deco (even with the left not matching the right side). Opened in 1938; suffered bomb damage & closed in 1944; repaired & reopened in 1951. Closed in 1970 & sold to development company in 1973. Languished until demolition in 1988 for shops & homes construction.
Visionary architect and artist Iakov Chernikhov (1889 – 1951) produced gorgeous conceptual architectural renderings that were years ahead of their time; his designs bore remarkable resemblance to the modernist architecture of the late 20th century. These images are from his seminal 101 Architectural Fantasies, published in 1933.
