Junior Achievement is a non profit organization that brings the real world to students through hands-on curriculum delivered by a trained classroom volunteer. Our programs inspire and prepare young people around the world for success in a global economy by teaching them the key concepts of workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.

The organization empowers students K-12 to own their economic success through volunteer-delivered programs fostering work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills. One of my volunteer #bucket_list items is to become a JA classroom mentor.

Junior Achievement Our programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Students put these lessons into action and learn the value of contributing to their communities.
