1500 year old Angel Oak Tree in South Carolina. I would love to know where this tree is so the next time I visit South Carolina, maybe I could go see it.

This tree is over 1400 years old, and is on Wadmalaw Island, SC (just south of Charleston, SC and not far from Kiawah Island, SC). It is currently under threat from a developer intent on building a residential community on/near this location.
