Jimi Jamison:  The day after he was born in rural MS, Jamison moved w/his mother to Memphis, TN & he considers himself a Memphis native. In the early 80's, he became lead singer of Cobra & after their demise in 83-84, he was invited to join Survivor (#1 hit "Eye of the Tiger"), as their new front man. Among his best known performances are "Burning Heart," from the Rocky IV which hit # 2 on Billboard Hot 100, "High On You"(#8) & "The Search is Over" (#4).
