I love this beautiful painting and it's perspective of Jesus on the water .Love how you can see his bare feet on the waters surface with his sweet hand reaching down -ALWAYS. It reminds me of a poem I loved as a teenager. It was about acknowledging the hand that pulls you up.
"I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint... my mouth is dried up like a potsherd ... they pierce my hands and my feet...my bones are on display...people stare and gloat over me." Psalm 22 Peter O' Neill gallery
Christ pulls Peter out of the water: Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”
