It's coming. #winter that is here in the Rockies snow is starting to fall and the resorts are opening.  This was taken January of this year in the San Juan Mountains near Ridgway/Ouray along Dallas Divide looking back at Mt. Sneffels. A 14000 foot peak named for the mountain in Journey to the Center of the Earth. Yes it was snowing then just behind me in this photo it was looking naaaasty and made for a creepy drive back down off of the mountain pass later that evening…
