Persuasion (1995)

Persuasion - another fabulous adaptation of a Jane Austen novel. So many wonderful subtleties in the performances given by the leads in this film. My favourite portrayals of Anne and Captain Wentworth ever!

Captain Wentworth, Persuasion by Jane Austen, 1818. Possibly love this book more than Pride and Prejudice. Possibly my favourite quote ever. ;)

The Cobb, Lyme Regis. Louisa Musgrove falls off those stairs at Lyme Regis in Jane Austen’s Persuasion, and is concussed - so mind how you go! Distance from Shaftesbury to Lyme Regis is 53 miles.
