James Dean shops at Marfa, Texas in 1955, whilst on location for the film 'Giant' in which he portrayed 'Jett Rink'. The film's depiction of 'Reata' - the 'Benedict' ranch - was shot in and around the town of Marfa, and the remote, dry plains found nearby. 'Giant' was James Dean's last film before his untimely death at the age of 24 years-old, 30 September 1955. The film was released in 10 October 1956.
