They call artist Jack Kirby "King" because his imagination set the rules for comics! With Joe Simon, he defined the Golden Age, including "Captain America." With Stan Lee, he defined the Silver Age, including most of Marvel's titles of the 60s. In the 70s, he created a new mythology for DC with "The New Gods." Later projects include animation and the first creator-owned dealer-direct title.
