Black Bean, Chorizo & Sweet Potato Chili Absolutely Delicious! Made a few changes though. I use Italian sausage and if you do not like a lot of heat use sweet sausage and cut back on the hot peppers used to adjust to your taste. This was a hit with kids and adults that do not even like sweet potatoes!
This dish is best made during September, when fresh borlotti beans are available. You can, of course, use other beans, such as cannellini or flageolet.
