I thought that this was a great example of formation. Of how a background can easily be changed. However the text stays structured in its invisible grid and does not move and that is the article or magazines formation.
Lol no, it's because theatres used to have several different acts back stage waiting to go on if something went wrong. They didn't have enough money to pay every act, so you were only paid if you performed. The term "break a leg" was used to wish people to go on (breaking the leg of the stage by entering) & get paid. It eventually became used to wish someone good luck.
