waiting for something good is just a way to say waiting on someone to get first place so you can easily get second, when all you had to do was to get after what you wanted and maybe sweat a little, maybe bleed a little, and maybe lose a lot of sleep, and end up first. because second place just IS not, and never will be, good enough for a truely dedicated individual.
The Large Turf, a painting by Albrecht Dürer, 1503. Durer is probably better known for his painting 'Hands' or Praying Hands as it has come to be known, but it amazes me that 513 years on, the pigments in this his Turf painting are still so vital, each one probably ground, mixed and made by his own hand.
