Minerals and Metals Research Building, Illinois Institute of Technology, 1943 - (Ludwig Mies van der Rohe) - I'm not sure I would classify this as brutalist architecture - it's very Mies-ian and very modernist. If anything it harkens back to the early work in weimar. But how appropriate for a minerals and metals building. --M2
