The Graveyard Book Nobody Owens, known to his friends as Bod, is a normal boy. He would be completely normal if he didn't live in a sprawling graveyard, being raised and educated by ghosts, with a solitary guardian who belongs to neither the world of the living nor of the dead. There are dangers and adventures in the graveyard for a boy. But if Bod leaves the graveyard, then he will come under attack from the man Jack—who has already killed Bod's family . . .

U.K. Industrial Revolution, XIX Century. Child chimney sweeps often had to crawl through holes only 18in wide - and cruel masters would light fires to make them climb faster. Many fell to their deaths

I had a massive family drama going on - worse than reality shows - and the dad had about 7 kids with a different wife for each one and the story consisted of them all slowly dying. I had this washing basket - called the lava pit - and they all eventually got tossed in by another member of the family as a sacrifice... I scared myself..

Mama (2013)

Mama (2013). I like this movie because it has a good story. The children are wild and creepy. Even though the special effects are not the best in the world, the story more than makes up for it. The dynamics between the girls and the ghost "Mama" are very interesting. Also, I like that it does not have a predictable ending.
