Highline Park, one of my favorite spots in New York. A park built on a former elevated metro line, where rails and path are integrated and planted, surrounded by Chelsea's architecture (get the New Yorker iPad app and listen to the Highline architecture audio tour).
The #HighLine. One of my favorite places in #NYC. The High Line is a public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on #Manhattan’s West Side. It runs from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District to West 34th Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues. To compare hotel prices for your stay in NYC please visit http://friendly-hotels.com
The High Line (USA). 'Refurbished rail tracks have been transformed into grassy catwalks in the sky. It’s the paradigm of urban renewal gone right, enjoying its status as one of the city’s most beloved public spaces.' http://www.lonelyplanet.com/usa/new-york-city/sights/outdoors/high-line
