I like the high-key aspect of this shot and how the sharp shadow cuts through the shot and makes it quite a high contrast shot.

An entry from casual thoughts

I like the fact that she has a nice amount of light exposing her and the fact that her hand has shadow on her face and neck. I dislike the fact her hand is in the air and that it's not actually doing anything.

this woman has a light being shined on the left side of her face making the photo have contrast.

I seriously love this style of photography. The light is focused from behind the sitter and on the right cheek. Which cast a shadow over the face, this creates great contrast on the face.
