At the end of recording Helter Skelter, Ringo yelled.... - viaThe Road Not Taken

Ringo Starr screams, "I got blisters on my fingers!" in the song Helter Skelter ✌

Siouxsie & The Banshees - Kiss Them For Me (Matt Pop's Spray Of Stars Mix) Siouxsie Sioux is one of the most charismatic front women in music - a true original. I wasn't always a fan of the band's music, but Kiss Them For Me was a great, edgy pop single. Melodic, structured, and produced by hit producer Stephen Hague (New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Erasure) I can imagine it being too commercial and radio-friendly for the hardcore goths and punks.

Charles Manson believed in what he called "Helter Skelter," a term he took from the song of the same name by The Beatles. Manson believed Helter Skelter to be an impending apocalyptic race war, which he described in his own version of the lyrics to the Beatles' song. He believed his murders would help precipitate that war. He was found guilty of conspiracy to commit the murders of Sharon Tate and Leno and Rosemary LaBianca carried out by members of the group at his instruction. Summer 1969.
