BIBLE STUDY - HANNAH'S PRAYERS - Hannah was a woman who dearly desired to have a child, but the Lord had closed her womb. She was sad and rose up early in the morning to pray unto the Lord, weeping before him. She made a serious pledge to the Lord, if only she could have a son.

Hannah’s Prayers

Hannah gave birth to a son, Samuel. When he was weaned she presented her son to Eli, “The Lord heard my petition and gave me a son. I am leaving my son at the Temple to serve the Lord all the days of his life.” Hannah gave thanks to God and went home.
