I mixed this with another recipe. So used the ham but cut up the veggies, added some garlic and added a half a jar of a tomato base sauce that I make which compliments any type of soup! Huge hit! Next time, I am going to used either a smoked sausage or hamhocks, that would make the flavor more rounded! Kids approved and parents approved! Picky kid even ate 2 bowls, so I think this is a must try!
Ham Cabbage and Potato Soup. I used chicken instead because I just crock potted a bunch but added at end since it was choked. And I didn't have bay leaves or liquid smoke but added poultry seasoning. SO DELICIOUS!
