Love this! I will use this idea to fill my ELA Board for Open House! Favorite Books Bulletin, stealing this for my elective bulletin board in the building hallway

Create a classroom timeline using pictures and events from the school year.

Create a classroom timeline using pictures and events from the school year. In our case, timeline of the department and main events/occurrences that have happened tying it all together

This "We are as unique at snowflakes" classroom door and hallway display is very unique and eye-catching. :-)

Unique as snowflakes classroom door January Celebrating diversity students cut their own snowflakes. Their pictures, cut round to fit, will go on the center of their snowflake.

My hallway display. I HATE di-cutting letters for hallway displays, so I got a frame and painted a piece of wood with chalkboard paint to make a hallway chalkboard. So now I can update the title of my hallway display on the chalkboard! NO MORE DI-CUTTING LETTERS! Whoohooo!! I also used ribbon to cover up the not so pretty cork strip in the middle of my display.

I like this idea and think that I will have to steal it for my next maths display in the corridor. Could get the children to find things to include.

Thanks to everyone for your great contributions to our bulletin board showcasing everyday uses of Math.

Welcome to Room 36!: First day of school and class pics

Treasured Work bulletin board to keep all year! put a hook under each student's name and put work in a "portfolio" on a ring so excellent work can be displayed. On the front of portfolio, put their name and picture (for the first day of school).

Library display, Where Do You Read? Love the idea of just clipping the photos to string on the bulletin board. Could modify the phrase to "Why do you read?" "What are you reading?" to use this as a promotion for different library events. Or even "People/Things/Places you need to read about" with photos of books you own in the library media center (or database links)

Library display, Where Do You Read? Have patrons place a mark of some sort on the location where they read the most!
