Homemade Grout Cleaner- Getting down on all fours to scrub out your tub while breathing in toxic fumes is not fun. As one can imagine, inhaling these chemicals is not good for your lungs. Make your own homemade grout cleaner mixing up a ratio of 1/2 cup of baking soda, 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide, and 1 teaspoon of liquid dish soap. Shake it all up and watch your grout lines restore to their original condition.
Tried it out this morning on my dogs' high traffic/slobber area, worked well! DIY grout cleaner, 5'x6' area. 1/4 cup bleach & 3/4 cup baking soda to create a nice thick paste.Use an old toothbrush and scub. Let it sit for ten minutes, then wipe clean with a rag and hot water (rinse rag constantly).
Best grout cleaner out there and its for carpet! Resolve carpet foam. Spray it on. Leave for 10 min. Scrub it off with a stiff scrub brush! Wha la!! :)) Tip:as you scrub wipe the dirt that comes up off. If you don't it will just soak back in before you get back to mop it off.
CLEAN GROUT: Sprinkle baking soda all over the grout. Make a mixture of water, 1/2 cup vinegar and 10 drops of lemon essential oil and spray it right onto the baking soda with a spray bottle. (The longer you let it sit, the easier it will be to clean.) If your floors don't need a deep scrub then just use this recipe: 1/2 cup vinegar 1 TBS baking soda 10 drops citrus essential oil Pour into a bucket with warm water and mop away!
