Grilled Rib-Eye Steaks

Grilled Rib-Eye Steaks -- Heat grill to high; lightly oil hot grates. Let steaks stand at room temp for 30 minutes. Generously season both sides of steaks with salt and pepper. Grill steaks, rotating once to create hatch marks, until well-browned on the outside and cooked to desired doneness, 6 to 7 minutes per side on a charcoal grill (or 8 to 9 minutes per side on a gas grill) for medium-rare. Transfer to a platter; cover with foil. Let rest for 10 minutes. Slice steaks against the grain.

For cooking steak. Another pinner said - I start the grill, heat up on high for 5+ minutes before putting the steak on. I cook on MED. We like our steaks less pink & Medium to Medium Well, so we add 2 minutes per side. (And 2 minutes or more per side if they are extra thick steaks). Only flip ONCE. Add a pat of butter & dash of salt, and no Steak Sauce needed.

One of my favorite ingredients...for beef roasts it's fabulous for browning a roast. For steak, mix with Worcestershire and some Teriyaki sauce for a fabulous marinade for steak...let it sit at room temp for a couple hours, then grill to taste! Great product that I've sworn by for many years!
