Pale, muted greens make for a serene bathroom space. Try Overtly Olive on bathroom walls with splashes of bright red or coral to add a twist.

Favourite colour (so far!) for lounge walls. Card Room Green by Farrow & Ball. This colour is named after the study-like rooms much favoured in the Victorian period and is unapologetic in its masculine feel. It really comes alive when contrasted with a warm neutral like Fawn or Stony Ground, as used in Victorian homes, but feels more powerful and contemporary when used with no contrasts at all. Dark Tones Undercoat.

An inspirational image from Farrow and Ball- too similar to Little Green Hick's Blue being used in hall and LG Juniper Ash being used in old playroom?
