Clinton Dall stunned Grand Designs presenter Kevin McCloud with the mere framework of his lavish build

The second prize was won by LincolnMiles Architecture, for the architect's house which was a little bungalow that grew and grew. The architectural designer and his wife wanted to build on the Isle of Wight, but were unable to find a good piece of land.  Featured on the t.v. show Grand Designs, they decided to find a bungalow on a prime piece of land (in this case, surrounded by unspoilt ancient woodland) and rebuild it.

British designer-maker Tom Raffield can now add house designer to his list of talents, as he has completed a home for himself and his family that features steam bent wood, just like his lighting and furniture designs.

Clinton Dall, from Sussex, stunned the host of the Channel 4 show, Kevin McCloud with the mere framework of his project prior to building one of the largest houses ever seen on Grand Designs.
