Edmund Fitzgerald 1975- we were at the locks in the 1972 and I took a picture of her. There were crew members on deck. I only discovered that photo a few years ago and it gave me the goosebumps.

On November 1975 the iron ore carrier, SS Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior. All 29 crew members died. At the time, it was the worst shipping disaster on the Great Lakes in 11 years.Perhaps you've heard about this famous shipwreck.
