your game of thrones travel guide (infographic) ..it would be cool if down the road, after the series wraps, they would create a got-location tour. something akin to what they do for lotr in new zealand. it could get creative quickly. possibly asoiaf themed food/music/decor on the ship...guides dressed as people from that world etc. i would totally get my geek on.
Joan Clarke Murray codebreaker at Bletchley Park during World War II, became deputy head of Hut 8 in 1944. Code breaking was almost exclusively done by men during the war. Clarke was paid less than the men and felt that she was prevented from progressing further because of her gender. She was a English cryptanalyst and numismatist ~
Love this idea from Delights and Designs… You could easily extend this for more able pupils to contain more word types. Children are encouraged to come up and pick a word from the teacher. They then place the stick in the correct pot. To further extend, they could then pick a word from each cup and create a sentence. Perfect for assessment!
