The 1955 Lincoln Futura was a concept car designed by the Lincoln division of Ford Motor Company. Hand-built by Ghia in Turin, Italy and designed by Bill Schmidt and John Najjar for $250,000. After buying the car from Ford for $1, legendary customizer George Barris made modifications and transformed the car into the Batmobile, for the 1966 TV series Batman.

This 1957 example is owned by Jim Dunlop, who is the car’s first and only owner. How cool is that?
