Math centres is an example of the learning centres we looked at in class. I think it hits on some ways to differentiate lessons and engage students. I think it hits on professional practice as its a great resource to use in the classroom.
Five Senses Dice Pattern. Children “roll” the dice. Whatever sense the picture represents, children use an object having to do with the sense (eat a choc chip, ring a bell, smell a flower, etc) maybe on a board for a winner?
Fun math activity for learning doubles. Directions: Roll the die and double the number you rolled. Look for that number on your board. Cover it with a chip. The first person to get five in a row is the winner.
