For a kid's party, each gets the first initial of their name

ANOTHER GAME TO PLAY WITH THE HERD- Ball Toss. Would also make a great "rainy day" activity. You could even find tubs or buckets of varying sizes (like nesting bins) for more of a challenge for the older kids (Think Skee-ball).

This is a great idea. For your child's first birthday...create a time capsule to be opened when he/she is older.

bubble refills for any kids kind of birthday party.

DIY: Bubble recipe and refill station. Love the idea of reusing plastic cups from restaurants as the containers. Keep the bubble solution confined to one big refill container, and no worries about leaky, yucky containers hiding all over the house!

Pick a Minnie Mouse game I made for my niece's first birthday party. Cut holes in the board and glued solo cups to the back. Inside the cups were random toys. Used tissue paper to cover the cups and keep the prize a secret. Wrote what prize was in the cups on the back to help the kids get prizes aimed towards their age/gender.

Pick a mickey- the cups are pre-glued with tissue paper to conceal a simple toy or handful pf candy
