Astrantia major rosea is a herbaceous perennial that flowers in midsummer but produces a later flush if deadheaded. After flowering plants can be rejuvenated by cutting them back close to the ground - fresh new foliage and a late crop of flowers start appearing shortly after. Plants do not spread far but are well-known for self seeding. Grows 18-24" tall in sun to part shade. Zones 5-9
Being called 'lazy' is the worst part...I'm not lazy - I'm in TONS of pain! But, since I'm also the one that says she's 'fine' all the time, I guess I shouldn't expect them to understand how I feel on days when I would rather have someone chop my feet off than to have to stand/walk on them.
