"Tvøroyri, Suðuroy, Faroe Islands - Light and Shadow" by Eileen Sanda on Flickr - View from the ferry Smyril, which has 2-3 daily departures from Torshavn, the capital. Tvoroyri is one of the largest towns on the island, Suouroy. There are 18 islands in the faroes, only one of them, Little Dimun, is uninhabited.
The Faroe Islands is an archipelago and autonomous country within the Kingdom of Denmark, situated between the Norwegian Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, approximately halfway between Norway and Iceland.
Hi everyone my name is Bobby and this week I will be sharing my shots of Faroe Islands with you guys. Hope you enjoy them! I travelled with my buddy Jeppe @kuld and stayed for around 8 days. This is the second time Jeppe and I visit Faroe Islands. First time was last year in the summer. Let's begin this shot is was taken at the first stop after the airport heading towards Torshavn. The famous waterfall: Gásadalur // Words & photo: @bobbyanwar Traveling mate: @kuld #FaroeIslands…
There are so many beautiful places to discover at The Faroe Islands and I still got one more to show you from the area around Vágar Airport. At the same place where you can watch the Gásadalur Waterfall you can also get a great view of the Island Mykines. Even on a cloudy day the view is fantastic.
