This 8 cm high carving of a human face on mammoth ivory is 26,000 years old, and was found in former Czechoslovakia. The object is the oldest portrait of a human being yet discovered. The head appears to have been fastened to a staff or baton.
Former Reichsbahnbunker (1942) Friedrichstrasse, Berlin. Now the home of the Boros Collection (Sammlung Boros), after conversion by architects Realarchitektur (2007). t's a pattern created by light seeping from the open edges of the box made of (inward facing) mirrors. The effect is fascinating!
This was so sad. To see Arthur, betrayed and hurt but at the same time trying to hold on to the friend he knew. At the same time, Merlin is hurting just as badly and feeling just as betrayed as his friend says the cruelest things, things that never hurt before because he was only joking. It was incredible and heartbreaking to see them rebuild their former relationship so close to the end.
