God saves certain families out of pure grace, but He also tears other families apart out of sheer wrath. This is exemplified in the killing of the idolatrous Hebrews by their own brothers the Levites. The holiness of God was upheld through the godly Levites He had empowered to be human angels about to inflict divine justice. As one family by blood pledging allegiance to Him, they brandished the sword against their own unrepentant kindred (Exodus 32:27-29).

The Voice of the Most High is in the Fibonacci spiral so He made our ears in that same ratio. We were designed to hear His Voice and walk in freedom with Him. In the beginning Adam walked freely in the Garden of Eden hearing His Voice (Genesis 3:8). Adam was naked (Genesis 3:7). Nakedness is one of the Hebrew words for free (Exodus 32:25).
