I was in fact this kid. Other kids liked horses. Some had horses. But I was the "horse girl" all the way through school. I never lived it down. But I'd much rather be called "horse chick" and "horse girl" all through school compared to what all those other girls were usually being called.
Did you know? Back in the day, equestrians often didn't have time to greet and speak with all the other riders before a foxhunt... so they put ribbons in their horses' tails to communicate what otherwise couldn't be communicated while racing over the fields.
