Bank Holidays mean relaxation, treats and tea. There’s loads of lovely afternoon teas on offer in London at the moment. And they’re not all just your traditional scones and cream (not that there’s anything wrong with that). There are lots of sandwiches and English desserts on the menu to have the perfect tea outing or party.
British folk dancers, Morris men in Hastings, Sussex, UK on a May Bank Holiday. The earliest mention of Morris Men is in 1448 and records the payment of seven shillings to Morris Dancers by the Goldsmiths Company in London. (it's ok we all find it a bit weird too!)
