For the TLC555 - use Watercolor Powders. I used various colors of Brushos here. I first stamped the Hero Arts image with Versamark on the smoother side of watercolor paper and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I then sprinkled on two colors at a time, misted with water until I got the texture I wanted and heat set it. I then repeated that adding two more colors and heat set. I heat set in between so I didn't get mud.
By Kassi Lynne.... to more easily ink the raised parts of dry embossed cardstock.... stick craft foam to a felt pad, then to the blending tool. Craft foam is harder, allowing you to hit only the raised areas. It will hold distribute ink paint better. (it does not work well for blending ink, although it makes an unusual distressed effect)
