70th anniversary of the US Air Force - It was the ‘Great War’ that saw ace aviators such as Eddie Rickenbacker (pictured), fly fixed-wing aircraft to attack targets on the ground with surgical precision or engage enemy airplanes to claim aerial supremacy.

This is a 1926 Rickenbacker Eight Super Sport, Eddie Rickenbacker’s personal car and the only survivor of it’s type. Nickel plating was abundant on this example, which was on display at the 1926 New York Auto Show.
