Thank you to KS2 teacher Rachael for sharing her Boggle interactive display made using Twinkl Create! She's stuck the letters on using Velcro so they are really easy to change over. What words can you find? Easy - letters don't have to touch. Hard - letters of the word have to touch
Here’s an easy way for students to practice their spelling words. Have them draw a big scribble on their page – remind them to leave big spaces in their scribble! Using coloured pencils, they can then fill the spaces with their words.
An instant way to add a personal touch to any small guest room is to install a long wall shelf that spans the length of the wall, like seen above, adorned with decorative letters that spell out a special phrase and compliment an bold, accent wall color behind.
Love this idea from Delights and Designs… You could easily extend this for more able pupils to contain more word types. Children are encouraged to come up and pick a word from the teacher. They then place the stick in the correct pot. To further extend, they could then pick a word from each cup and create a sentence. Perfect for assessment!
Boggle- This is by far the most popular in my room. I got this amazing activity from Create-Teach-Share and my kids go bananas for it. I just change the letters weekly to reflect our spelling pattern focus and they go on a word making frenzy. LOVE it!
