When we see that our forefathers served other Gods and sinned against the Most High. Its always in our best interest to find out what those other Gods are. Also, be careful who you "pledge your allegiance to." Some nations God hates because they have looted, murdered, and wrongfully imprisoned his chosen people. Make sure when pledging your allegiance that you trust the leaders enough to know they are clean in the eyes of the Lord.
These are simple to make and looked really effective for Messy Church...if you wanted it really messy - instead of stick on jewels, you could cover both sides of the stick in PVA glue and press them into glitter...
